The IR Flash Dryer is a handy machine to have in the screen printing workshop, it’s great for drying prints between one colour application and the next.
The IR Flash Dryer can also be used for polymerising inks.
Unlike other flash dryers, the IR 3000 W Flash Dryer is a low wattage dryer.
It’s equipped with 6 lamps, each with a power rating of 500 W, and can even function with as few as 3 lamps (reducing energy consumption by 1500 W).
No need to use a 380 V power system.
The unique feature of this kind of flash dryer, which sets it apart from those that use a heating element, is that the IR lamps only need to be switched on when needed.
The flash dryer comes to the required temperature in just a few seconds, and stays on only for as long as it takes for the ink to dry.
The drying time can be set manually.
The dryer can be switched on and off in a number of different ways:
– via a pedal
– via a switch on the carousel that activates the dryer when the printing station passes through
– via an optical reader that activates the dryer when the printing station passes through
The heated surface area is very large: 43 x 50 cm, so also suitable for large T-shirts.
The IR 3000 W Flash Dryer (43 x 50 cm) is equipped with 4 cooling fans, which can be activated separately from the lamps and can therefore also be used to dry the ink, without having to switch on the lamps.
Power supply: 220-240 V (single-phase)
Power consumption: max. 3000 W
Six IR lamps (500 W each)
Activation period: adjustable, time-controlled
4 fans, which can be activated separately from the lamps
Heated surface: 43 x 50 cm
Can function with just three lamps, thus reducing energy consumption.
The dryer can be switched on and off via a foot pedal
Alternatively, on request, via a carousel-activated micro switch
An optical reader is also available as an accessory if required.
