I’ve got a problem with the adherence of Seriprop Quasar ink.I printed on some collapsible PE water bottles. After going through the dryer and being allowed to cool, the print was resistant to rubbing. A few hours later, when I went to box them up, the ink started rubbing off. Is there any way I can solve this?
I can confirm that Seriprop is a suitable ink for printing on PE, provided that the surface tension of the PE isn’t too low.
In this case, the material must be flame treated before printing, using an appropriate flame treatment tool (a flamer).
If you don’t have such a tool, you can try adding an adhesion promoter to the ink (in the ratio 5:1, e.g. 100 g ink + 20 g promoter) https://world.cplfabbrika.com/adhesion-promoter-100-gr.html , but it’s difficult to be certain how good the results will be, you’ll need to do a test.
