In theory, yes it can, but it’s important to check whether or not the eco-leather can withstand the temperature of the heat press when the sublimation print is transferred to the material.

We’d advise carrying out a preliminary test to make sure the eco-leather can withstand such temperatures.

Various materials can be treated with Subli Prep, but it is essential that they then withstand the temperature of 200°C, which is necessary for the sublimation ink transfer to take place.

If it is wood, instead of the sublimation technique, I would recommend transfer printing, which still needs to be transferred using a heat press, but the temperatures are lower and, if you have a laser printer, you can do the prints yourself, you just need to get the right transfer paper.

Subli Prep Spray is not considered a product suitable for food use.
It must also be verified that, by making a product that is not meant to be ‘sublimated’, it resists washing in the dishwasher.

Substrates such as cups and mugs suitable for sublimation resist washing without problems, we are not sure of the same resistance when the product is treated.
