I have a small Silver Start Up screen printing press for doing a few prints on some t-shirts.In addition to the frame and a smaller pallet than the one I’ve got for putting the bags on, I’d like to know what I would need for printing on 210D polyester bags. What type of ink (I’ll be using black) and additives do I need? And finally, is it ok to dry them with a heatpress?
The inks that are suitable for polyester are Nyloflex ( https://world.cplfabbrika.com/quasar-nyloflex-solvent-based-ink.html ) and Plastisol ( https://world.cplfabbrika.com/plast-amex-in-pots-05-kg-1-kg-6-kg-7-kg.html ).
Nyloflex ink dries at room temperature in approximately 24 hours (we suggest carrying out a preliminary test to check the adhesion and drying).
Plastisol inks need to be high temperature dried at 160°C in a heatpress to polymerise and adhere to the item.
