Silver startup manual screen printing press – technical details:
One of the key features of the Silver Startup manual press is its self-balancing screen holding system.
A system that doesn’t use counterweights, springs or gas pistons, and is able to hold a metal screen of up to 50×70 cm in size.
Centring the image to be printed is very easy, indeed the printing stations can be adjusted to suit a range of different lengths and it’s possible to adjust the screen’s inclination in relation to the station.
Furthermore, CPL Fabbrika’s Silver StartUp screen holding system is slidable, thus making it possible to print on items up to 14 cm thick.
The press comes complete with many accessories and there are others that can be purchased separately, such as printing stations for T-shirts and shopping bags 23 x 52 cm in size, and micro-adjustable stations measuring 42 x 50 cm which are ideal for A3 or larger sizes.
The stations can be interchanged quickly, without the need for any tools.

Q&A

We intend to buy the SILVER STARTUP screenprinting press. What else should we order to ensure we have everything we need to start screen printing on t-shirts and similar items?
Answer to the question from Christine

To print on t-shirts, in addition to the screen printing press, you’ll need a few small accessories:

If you decide to expose your own screens you’ll also need this: https://world.cplfabbrika.com/kit-exposed-pro-screen-printing-frames.html

Is it possible to have a Silver Start Up screen printing press with a rectangular station of 50x70 cm and another printing station that's shaped for t-shirts? If it's possible, what are the additional costs?
Answer to the question from Lisa

The standard printing station on the Silver Start Up press is shaped to be used for t-shirts and is 40 cm wide.

However, it is possible to order shaped or non-shaped printing stations of any dimension.

In particular, one measuring 50×70 cm costs approximately € 40.

I have a small Silver Start Up screen printing press for doing a few prints on some t-shirts.In addition to the frame and a smaller pallet than the one I've got for putting the bags on, I'd like to know what I would need for printing on 210D polyester bags. What type of ink (I'll be using black) and additives do I need? And finally, is it ok to dry them with a heatpress?
Answer to the question from Abdul

The inks that are suitable for polyester are Nyloflex ( https://world.cplfabbrika.com/quasar-nyloflex-solvent-based-ink.html ) and Plastisol ( https://world.cplfabbrika.com/plast-amex-in-pots-05-kg-1-kg-6-kg-7-kg.html ).

Nyloflex ink dries at room temperature in approximately 24 hours (we suggest carrying out a preliminary test to check the adhesion and drying).

Plastisol inks need to be high temperature dried at 160°C in a heatpress to polymerise and adhere to the item.
