This anti-waste spatula was born directly in CPL Fabbrika’s workshop.

In fact, at the end of processing the frames, we realised that we could not recover all the emulsion that remained at the bottom of the scoop coater.

So we made this spatula from the vulkollan – itself salvaged – used to make the doctor blades. We cut the vulkollan so that it had the right shape for the bottom of the scoop coater.

Just run this spatula along the tray, and you will be able to recover all the emulsion, without waste.
