Texprint Aquatech inks must be polymerised at 160°C for 2 or 3 minutes using a heat press or screen printing oven.

High quality water-based screen printing inks. Opaque, ready-to-use.

High elasticity ink perfect for screen printing on fabric: print directly onto light or dark coloured fabrics, finished or pre-cut garments. Suitable for cotton, jersey, Lycra and other synthetic or natural fabrics.

General technical characteristics:
Excellent opaqueness on dark backgrounds
Excellent printability
Soft to the touch
Low tack
Long on-screen drying time
Free from PVC, formaldehyde and phthalates
Free from heavy metals
APEO free
Water soluble
Compliant with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 regulations
Compliant with the textile industry’s strictest environmental regulations

Ready-to-use. If necessary, TEXPRINT ink may be diluted using TEXPRINT THINNER (adding a maximum of 5%), this will make it more stable during the screen printing process, especially important when the ambient temperature is very high.

Printing
Texprint Aquatech can be used for printing on screens with a thread count of up to 90T.
For optimum colour opacity and shine, we recommend adjusting the off-contact distance and squeegee pressure during the printing phase.

For larger print runs, it’s recommended to catalyse the screen using Screen Chem Catalyst Special.

Screen cleaning
The screen can be washed with water.

Storage
If stored in its original container at a temperature between 15 and 25°C, TEXPRINT can be kept, without any deterioration in its characteristics, for 1 year from the production date.

Caution
Before using the ink in earnest, tests should be carried out to assess whether the product meets the necessary requirements.
It’s also important to verify the polymerisation conditions; the addition of additives, depending on the specific case, may require longer or shorter drying times.

Tips for making sure the ink doesn’t dry on the screen:
print and leave a sufficient amount of ink on the screen
if it’s necessary to pause the printing process for a long period, cover the design on the screen with ink
you can also lightly spray it with water before re-starting printing
nebulise some water and use it to counter any drying that may have occurred.
