Sharpening with manual or motorized grinding wheel advancement.

Essential equipment for sharpening the squeegees is made in different lengths according to the size of the squeegee to be sharpened (1000 – 1500 – 2000 – 200 mm and other sizes on request).

In the case of the manual version, the operator “physically drags” the grinding wheel head through a handle positioned at the base of the carriage forward and backward.

The machine consists of a grinding wheel head: the grinding wheel allows the use of abrasive cloth and is driven directly by a three-phase electric motor.

The perfect linearity of the grinding wheel advancement is guaranteed by calibrated uide bars; base: incorporates the head guides and the ribbon holder bar.

The latter allows any possible straight line shaping of the doctor blade.

It is also possible to obtain a “rounded” shape (Ç) of the rubber by using a suitably shaped grinding wheel (in this case, when ordering, it must be specified that the sharpener must be delivered with this type of special wheel.

The blade holder bar is also equipped with a support (which moves on the three planes X, Y, Z) which allows to counteract the pressure (and therefore any movement of the rubber) exerted by the grinding wheel during its grinding phase.
