Q&A

Is it absolutely necessary to add a catalyst to Texprint inks or can they be used without it?
Answer to the question from Frank

The Texprint catalyst comes included with the ink itself and 5% should be added in relation to the total weight of the ink (e.g. 1kg of ink, add 50g of catalyst). Whilst it isn’t absolutely necessary to add the catalyst, it is strongly recommended, especially in certain weather conditions.

How much Texprint Universal Catalyst 50 ml should I add to the Amex Texprint Colouring 100 ml to make sure the colours are wash-resistant when printed on fabric?
Answer to the question from Daniel

The amount of universal catalyst that needs to be added to the pre-prepared ink is 5%, i.e. in proportion to the total weight of the already pigmented base.
