Tools for exposing screenprinting screens. UltraSlim Stainless Steel LED exposure unit.
The UltraSlim LED exposure unit replaces the Eco exposure unit, after more than ten years on the market and hundreds of units sold.
The UltraSlim LED exposure unit has been designed and manufactured by CPL Fabbrika, and its key features are as follows:
– itโs equipped with a 40W cold, flat LED panel light.
The result is a light thatโs more immediate, itโs safer than traditional neon tubes, and also offers significant energy savings.
– the LED light’s colour temperature (6000K) is more suitable for modern emulsions
– as its name suggests (UltraSlim), the unit is small and therefore has a much reduced footprint. Thanks to the flat LED panel light, the unitโs depth is just 7 cm when closed.
– the flat LED panel light is a low voltage light, so itโs even safer to use.
– its stainless steel body is lightweight and small, so it takes up very little space.
– the lid can be closed with a single operation, simply by turning the central knob
– the lidโs movement is facilitated by two gas pistons
– the exposure unit has two special anchor points at the back that make it possible to mount it on the wall; in this case its footprint is just 7 cm.
– the UltraSlim LED exposure unit is equipped with a foam rubber presser, this enables the film to adhere to the screen without the need for a pneumatic vacuum
– the maximum screen size is 50×54 cm.
– itโs suitable for ready-to-use emulsions as well as some types of diazo emulsions
– Size: 61 x 61 x 7 cm
Easy to assemble.
The exposure unit comes disassembled. With just a small number of components, the required tools supplied in the package, and clear instructions, assembly is quick and easy: it can be set up and ready for use in just a few minutes.
Exposure times table.
The LED exposure unit comes with a table detailing the recommended exposure times, all of which have been verified in the CPL workshop: meaning it isn’t necessary to carry out all those laborious tests, with associated savings in terms of time and material.
